The Weston A. Price Foundation
Randolph Center Chapter

DISCUSSION & POTLUCK SERIES BEGINNING IN MARCH

In January, Turkey Hill Farm hosted a series of viewings of Sally Fallon Morell’s DVD, Nourishing Traditional Diets: The Key to Vibrant Health. We had a good turnout for this wonderful introduction to the work and philosophies of the Weston A. Price Foundation.

As a follow-up to these viewings, we’re offering a series of discussions on the first Sunday of each month, beginning March 8th at 5:00 pm. Note that this will be Daylight Savings Time already!

We would like to start the first evening with a discussion about how the movie has affected you and your food choices. Those of you who have the cookbook Nourishing Traditions can review concepts from the DVD by reading Sally Fallon’s lengthy 63-page Introduction.

If possible, we suggest you prepare a dish from Nourishing Traditions to enjoy at our potluck after the discussion—a great way to become familiar with the cookbook recipes. Please call us to RSVP.

Starting the Randolph Center Chapter

Stuart and I have recently volunteered to become chapter leaders, which means that we will be forming a group of people interested in becoming members of the Weston A. Price Foundation. This movement is worldwide in scope yet each local chapter has a unique flavor shaped by the desires and interests of its members. Doug Flack from Enosburg Falls has been a chapter leader in Vermont for many years. Ideally, many chapters can exist within a state, even within ten miles of each other.

If you are interested in the movement towards eating local and recreating the traditional diets of our ancestors before industrialized foods hit the shelves of our grocery stores, Stuart and I encourage you to come to this movie and discussion series, learn about the Weston A. Price Foundation and what it has to offer, and consider becoming a member of the Randolph Center Chapter.
